I shall pose an interesting situation.

One is faced with a life of monotony and contentment because the world they live in does not offer more and more cannot be created by the law they are governed by. Original thought no longer exists in that society. The person also has the chance to delve into mediocrity, something they have never before experienced. Is mediocrity that which they lack and should strive for simply because they have never experienced it before? Is it possible that this person is incapable of mediocrity?

What does one do when the world is without challenge and life is without meaning because the world is without challenge? When one has traveled down a path in search of nothing, only to enjoy the path, what do they do when the road is still not traveled but is now predictable because of one’s own equation of predicatbility? Should one savor the moment that the calculation was wrong even though living for the hope of one moment to occur is futile and contrived? Is life really about living to be miserable in order to learn?
