We left Georgia on Tuesday and had a great flight with Delta. Delta is not horrible like American Airlines so we did not get stranded, abused, or have our belongings trashed. Yay. The Atlanta airport has really gotten faster with security and online check-in makes things so much easier. I think we have decided to always use online check-in for all our domestic flights thus cutting out the extra people that we would otherwise have to talk to.

Now, we are at Brian’s parents house in California. We are having a relaxing time here. We visited a bookstore and Olvera St. in LA. We actually ate lunch at a restaurant in the oldest brick building in LA…it was a lot of fun. We are supposed to go to Yosemite next week and also drive the 49er (gold rush) highway and see some of the neat Old West Mining towns and ghost towns. I seem to be very interested by that time period and have been reading a number of Old West books and watching a number of western movies. We just watched Shane last night and it was great.

I am supposed to cook Ethiopian food for Brian and his parents this week. That should be fun… :)
