Work & the Stock Market & Religion & Adoption
March 21, 2007
Work is going really well today - my new business cards are ordered, my new logo is ready to go, my new accounting system is online and I’ve figured out a Linux workaround for it, my help wanted ad is in the paper and on Craigslist and it is not even noon yet! I need a laptop asap…
The stock market and our stocks in paticular seem to be heading up! Yay!
While I was on the phone some Jehovah’s Witnesses came to the door AGAIN (I just told these people recently not to come back) and gave me some flyer for a “very important” meeting at the Kingdom Hall in our village.
I have decided to find my birthfamily so I can secure some health related information. I have enlisted the help of a private investigation company that searches for birthparents in Florida. This should be interesting…

Perhaps a sign that reads “DANGER MAN EATING DOG” on your fence? I may get one made up for myself that reads “Second amendment practiced and enforced on these premises.” But it’d be just my luck that I’d get all the boobs visiting my door that don’t know a sausage about the Constitution.
Good luck on the hunt for your birth parents. At the very least to find out more information about your family’s medical history.

You see signs like that all the time in Hawaii - but no one really pays attention… Most people wouldn’t have a clue what you meant if you posted the 2nd amendment sign - they would probably say “Yeah, you are right man, we have the right to assemble freely outside your door.”
Thanks, I hope I will be able to get the medical information I need from my birth family - and I will be interested to see what they look like. The company I’ve contracted to do the search charges an arm and a leg and it’s supposed to take 8-10 months to locate them. Fun.

whoa…just perusing your blog and saw this - I’m adopted too. Fairly curious what transpires there for you as I have always debated doing that.
