Basketball Tickets
December 29, 2007
I will be going to Georgia to visit my family in February for about two weeks. I had wanted to go to a basketball game in the hopes of seeing the Hawks play the Lakers, Spurs, Warriors, or the Jazz or some other decent team. Brian said that the Hawks rarely play those teams so it would not be likely that I would get to see any of those three. Well, he was right and wrong. Interestingly enough, the Hawks will be playing all four of those teams during my visit. Unfortunately, none of the games during my entire visit are home games. The last home game is the day before I arrive and the next home game is the day after I leave. I am annoyed.

I never pegged you for a basketball fan. The same goes for the Thrashers. They rarely play any decent teams (Because they know they’d get the floor wiped up with them). My father and I managed to get a deal on a pair of tickets to see the Thrashers play the Boston Bruins… Good game…. Thrashers got the snot beaten out of them.
Too bad you couldn’t get any tickets for the Hawks… It’s just as well they’re a third rate team anyway

I had never even watched a basketball game until Brian and I went to Kauai. When we were there Brian controlled the remote in the hotel and the choice was between Ultimate Fighting and basketball. I actually ended up liking basketball and thought I could at least see a game while in GA. I know the Hawks stink - I don’t even want to see them - I really just want to see some of the better teams play. Oh well, maybe next time!
I don’t have a clue about hockey - looks like a bunch of toothless guys hitting each other with sticks to me. Ultimate fighting with a puck and pads?
